ACLU partnered with Xeroproject to help them put a new face to their Capital Pride festivities and sponsorship.


Develop a new identity that was as strong and inclusive as the people it represents as well as reflects a politically turbulant time, where ACLU is needed more than ever.


While this project ended up being the new face of ACLU:DC during capital pride, it started out as a simple request for a t-shirt design. Our idea was to focus on the protection that ACLU provides to the LGBTQ community while still making the image impactful and inviting.


ACLU: DC loved the image so much that we were then asked to translate it into a countless giveaways and marketing material including: banners, geofenced Snapchat filters, and even a temporary tattoo.

It’s now the identity of their Capital Pride festivities for the foreseeable future. During the event, ACLU was out of free give aways and t-shirts for sale after the first day of Capital Pride. A first for them in their involvement with the event.
