When Octopus Energy launched their EV leasing program, Octopus Electric Vehicles, in the US, we were tasked with helping them overcome what was plaguing EV sales worldwide: Long wait times for delivery of vehicles.
We worked with Octopus to create a personalized welcome message for customers who were approved for a lease that included an augmented reality version of their car, they could virtually park in their driveway while they waited for the delivery of their new EV.
The virtual car helped create some excitement while the new car owners waited for their car to be delivered, and was set up giving Octopus the ability to customize the message, choose from a selection of EV’s, and swap out different options including car color and rim type, matching the car the customer ordered.
