Hoodwinked, a small batch single barrel bourbon whiskey brewed locally in Virginia wanted a label to reflect the masonic history of its namesake. A Masonic hoodwink is a symbolic and visual method of covering the eyes which is used in the initiation of the candidate into acquiring new knowledge, hence the term, “from darkness to light.
We crafted a label using custom typography and antique masonic imagery to reflect a feel of history and tradition while utilizing a clean layout to keep it looking fresh and modern.
There were only 100 bottles of Hoodwinked produced making this whiskey bottle as rare as it is good looking.
