We were asked by the History Channel to create a teaser interactive for Project Blue Book and shed a little light on the true history of Area 51, which is a main focus of the first two episodes in season 2.
What better way to reveal what goes on at a top secret facility than to draw inspiration from actual declassified CIA and FBI documents, redacted text and all?
We created a quiz in the style of an over xeroxed document with all its good bits redacted other than the questions. Once the player selected an answer they are informed if was correct or incorrect (by way of a stamp), and the true information is un-redacted with an accompanying photo.
When the whole quiz was completed the user was able to share the quiz with their score and unique message depending on how many of their answers were correct.
